Administrators Neil Brock Posted October 18, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted October 18, 2012 The game crashes during a match, slowdown issues or the display shows incorrectly or grey only Please try switching Rendering mode. This can be done in the preferences under 'Interface -> Interface Rendering Mode.' Change from GPU Assisted to Software. If you cannot access your preferences you can do this by pressing: ALT + SHIFT + F10 all at the same time. This should resolve your issue. If this DOES resolve your issue, please let us know in the relevant thread: If it occurred on PC - http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/319597-Any-user-has-encountered-crashing-or-grey-screen-issues-resolved-by-changing-GPU-Rendering?p=8170883#post8170883 If it occurred on Mac - http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/319588-Crashes-whilst-playing-matches-with-GPU-Rendering-enabled

Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 1, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted November 1, 2012 Game encounters issues/Crashing after upgrading Operating System to Windows 8 If you've upgraded your operating system to Windows 8 using the in-OS upgrade option (not reinstalling or installing from scratch), you will need to re-install Football Manager 2013, else you may encounter issues. To do this follow the instructions below: 1. Launch Steam 2. Go into your Steam Library 3. Right-Click on Football Manager 2013 4. Select 'Delete Local Content' (This WILL NOT remove any save games, they are stored separately and will not be deleted) 5. Uninstall the game 6. Once this is complete Right-Click on Football Manager 2013 in your Steam Library 7. Select 'Install Game' 8. The game will now reinstall and once completed you'll be able to launch and play your game without issues
