glosrob Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Hi all I am playing about with the Continental Competition Creator and reworked the Champions League to a new format, mainly to see the effect it would have in game. The basic setup is: 256 team group stage - 16 groups of 16 Knockout stages from 128 teams to final Update day is June 15th 53 nations from Europe (all of them in the 12.2 db) have at least one team, some have more (England, Spain etc.) I created a new Competition and just called RobZ (to make it easier to search for ingame) But staring a new game and searching for 'RobZ' returns no results - also holidaying to the end of the season shows no games are played either. The rules pass the validation check in the editor with no problems. Are there any common errors/mistakes I should look out for? glosrob Posted September 17, 2012 Author Share Posted September 17, 2012 Turns out it was due to the number of teams I was selecting from some of the smaller nations - selecting more than 1 club from any of these nations: Malta Liechtenstein Faroe Islands Azerbaijan Andorra San Marino Luxembourg Caused the competition to not be included in the game.
