kwallace75
Hey guys, just a quick one. Does it matter if the players you buy speak the same language? I thought I might just pick players who have the ability to speak English (Villa) Anyone else tried that, or know if it helps?
jod123
I think if a player comes in and can't communicate with any players or staff then they find it difficult to settle in the area. It never bothers me as when I buy a player I usually don't expect them to be good straight away and they generally learn the language soon enough and settle in eventually. It might be a good experiment to try, though, and to see does it make a difference.
JawKam
Well, I think it depends on the player's adaptability. If he has a high adaptability rating, then it wouldn't be much of a problem and will get on with it. If he has a low one, then he'll struggle in making the grade so then, he'll become unhappy and probably want to leave. Either way, it's best to have a pair of same nationality/language speaker in case of any unsettling.

theincrediblehulk
IRL, it would obviously be a problem if they didnt speak the same language. But on the game it doesnt matter at all as far as I know. The only time they have problems settling in is if they have a low "adaptability" stat.
