I had noticed that but with available money I'll be looking to bring in at least one, possibly two, first team ready players. You've looked after your finances very well though so well done on that. I try to keep my balance above zero after all summer transfers and then build it up again during the season but your balance is better. I'm at work all weekend(12 hour nights) so won't be playing until tuesday at the earliest anyway. Thanks again

With A little help in the DL/DR and maybe a new striker and you might even be able to push to CL. I'm taking it slow and enjoying the build up. Eventually I want to try and be the richest club in the world so careful finances and never letting a player be paid too much is a big part of what I am doing here at Staines. No problem, I hope you can enjoy the save as much as I am.

A good philoshopy to have. I'm actually pretty tight with the purse strings as well so I won't pay over the odds on fees or wages but breaking into the CL is harder than then winning the league in my opinion. I will not gamble to make it in one year if building foundations and taking five won't get me the sack. And recruiting lots of young talent as you are will reap its own rewards in a few years. Also dl/dr are very important in that formation so strengthening there is imperative to success.

I'm trying to keep people below 30k a week but I think I might have to unload a couple players again this season since they don't want to commit a wage below 30k. I am really hoping that we can get an expansion this season so we can start making better profits. I'd say it's best to avoid rushing in to the CL. sure the extra money would be great but I don't know if the squad would be enough to keep getting in to it. I'll challenge the CL when i have the facilities and possibly stadium to make it worth my while financially. The more money we can bank the better perks we can afford.

I suppose I could save money by not having 23 scouts, 6 physios and i think 8 coaches. but I love a huge back room.

END OF SEASON UPDATE:

This season saw staines have some great ups and downs. Mid season we we're up on the table at 6th and suddenly we went on a run of facing all the big teams which lead me to get my ass kicked. But after the bad run I figured out some good tweaks and managed to finish in 8th. We won the league cup getting us back in to the euros for the third year in row. Some highlights included a 5-0 win over man u and beating chelsea in the league cup final. There are no less then 10 new plays coming in to the squad at the 1st of june. all of which are high star and cost me next to nothing. I will post pics after they join.

Marty, I have a save here for you. It is just after the lasty game of the season. There are no pending requests (facilities or stadium) so its as close to a clean slate as i can offer, minus the fleet of new people coming in.

START OF SEASON UPDATE:

With the new additons made over the last month or so the team is off to a fantactic start going unbeaten in 9 games (some friendlies included) with a massive 7-0 3rd round euro cup win over Pyunik and a 7-1 4th round win over Luzern. The team needs to gel but I think this season will be stellar. I focused on getting pre-contracts out to the players my scouts recommended, which worked out well. Also making sure they all had high pace/acc. We are sitting at 41st richest club in the world with a value of 81m. Our training facilities got hit by a technological downgrade but they will be brought back up this season. Lastly we have two feeder clubs down in L1 Exeter and Q.P.R, both are using the loans we have sent out to them.

No problem mate. Links are better for multiple screenshots. It will be tomorrow before I begin the new season but today I'm trying to set the season up before work.

I won't be making many signings but maybe one or two. I've changed the training schedules slightly by lowering strength and aerobic and increasing tactics for most but the overall intensity is the same. I've also set tactics back to all standard and I will tweak from there. I just hope I can figure it out quickly and hit the ground running so as to do your work justice.

EDIT: I've put Fabian Navas on heavy individual training for composure which is very low for a premier striker.

The transfer window has just ended and the season has started quite well. The arrival of your pre-agreed signings has allowed me to clear out a few and actually make a profit on transfers. Am confident I can make the Euros through the league but Champions league might still be a season or two away. Gonna try to build up some money so board increase stadium size.

EDIT: End of season update.

A mixed first season finishing 7th in the league and losing in the FA cup final. I did however win manager of the year. In January I sold Sotomayor and Leonardo(50% of next sale) both for £10million. I replaced them with Gary Horley(£5.75m) for his home-grown status and then my marquee signing Gabriel from Napoli for £20m. My total transfer spending for season one is £40m spent and £52m brought in. As a result I'm very happy with my strike options for next season and midfield is also strong but the back four is not good enough for a champions league push.

Training, youth facilities and stadium capacity are all being worked on for the new season and there is still enough for two defenders which I hope will improve my squad.
