JalenTigh
Could someone please explain to me how pre contracts, or end of contracts.. whatever you call them work? It seems like hit or miss, some players I can make offers too, some I can make offers but have to pay a fee, and others I can not offer at all. mije1983
You can make them an offer when they have less than 6 months to go on their current contracts. The exception to this is if you are managing in England you can only approach other players in England when they have less than 4 weeks left on their contract. You will have to pay a compensation amount to their current club if they are under the age of (I think) 24. Anybody over that age should be available to you for free.
