humpeljulbonus
Hello! After two days of furious playing with Southamptons we are now promoted to Premier League, awesome right! My first encounters with Aston Villa (in cup) ended with 6-0 so now I really need some kind of tactic that really parks the bus. Have been thinking of something like this. ST <- Ball reciever support AML AMC AMR <- AML (inside striker) AMC (trequalista) AMR (winger) <-All attack DMC DMC <- One DMC (defence) and one deep laying playmaker (support) DL DC DC DR <- Handles defence alone. DL DR stays back GK Have any of you used something similar? Also detail hints would be very welcome! Thanx!
DeadPanda
I think that might leave your midfield a little bit open though as you have attacking and defense completely seperate. I'd suggest a lone striker with an AMC tucked behind, with wide midfielders with a tendancy to attack to get crosses in, but not AMR/L so they are too far pushed up the field. I'd use the sliders to determine how attack minded they are. A CM and DMC or two DMC's if you want to push your wide players up the field a bit more. Behind them I would have a standard defense. Apart from that, all I would then do is make sure the players track back and pressure the opposition.
humpeljulbonus
Hm.. good idea! Will try to do that. The idea is to bore the opponents to death and then hope for a lucky strike
Stephanie McMahon's Secret Lover
Never a big fan of splitting up the midfield like that. Perhaps 2 defensive minded MCs would be better than 2 DMCs? FM is much easier tactics wise now the scouts and coaches can suggest the players best roles
