Fowler-9
just wondering whether these actually influence anything.. for example if all my coaches prefered 442 & passing would that influence the rate at which the players learned to play a passing game? Marsupian
No it doesn't as far as I know. It just impacts how he manages a team if he were a manager. This also influences how he plays with your reserve or youth squad if you let him choose a tactic. You can overwrite this in the "team settings" tab where you can choose who manages your reserve and youth sides and if they use the first team tactic or their own. furiousuk
I agree with Marsupian, which I think is a shame because the game could do more with the stats, namely, it would be nice if the coaches preferred styles all added to a tactical knowledge base. This would translate into the game by aiding how quickly fluidity is gained in each area i.e. if none of your coaches are particularly happy with a zonal marking system then employing a zonal system would take a lot longer to gain fluidity.
