axehan1
After 4 seasons sticking with ball winning midfielder(defend)-deep lying playmaker(support) i felt it was time for a change as i felt like i was never fully in control of the midfield. There always looked like there was to much to much space and time for the opposition. I have now gone for deep lying playmaker (defend) and box to box (support). What i find good about this set up is that the DLP is now the first option for a pass for anyone along the back four as opposed to before. There is less time and space in the middle for the opposition as my box to box is in perpetual motion and my full backs are more willing to go forward as they have better passing options,my advanced playmaker AML drifts inside and has an extra passing option with the box to box available which has allowed my AMC the freedom to do what i want him to do which is float around higher up the pitch. All in all a midfield combination that at the moment i'm very happy with.
