The FFA have allowed me complete control over backroom staff and I have sacked all of the backroom staff. The new backroom staff follows: Ronald Koeman – U21s Manager Robert Verbeek – U19s Manager Chris Evans – Assistant Manager Adam Highfield – Goalkeeping Coach John Brierley – Coach Claus Jensen – Coach Mehmet Durakovic – Coach Eddie Krncevic – Coach Pete Friar – Physio Yes I know, Robert is Pim's brother. Rukavytsya 4th: Bresciano passes to Rukavytsya, he shoots and it is tipped over the bar, Corner. 5th Kewell takes the corner, headed by Neill, tipped over the bar, Corner. 6th Kewell takes the corner, saved. 9th Mejac takes the corner, Schwarzer saves and clears down field, Rukavytsya gets to it and puts it into the side netting. 14th Cahill gets the ball in midfield, passes it to Rukavytsya who passes it back into the penalty area for Cahill, who scores. AUSTRALIA 1 – 0 SLOVENIA 16th Grella passes it forward to Cahill, who passes it forward for Rukavytsya, into the side netting. 29th. Kewell takes the corner but it is easily saved by Handanovic 40th. Mejac takes the free kick from the edge of the area, Schwarzer punches it clear, Novakovic pounces and scores, if he wasn't offside. 44th Referee signals for 2 minutes of added time 45+3h Referee blows for half time. Halftime subsitutions: Valeri on for Culina, Troisi on for Kewell, Vidosic on for Cahill 48th Ljubjanic runs down field, shoots and misses 54th Grella goes down and is subsituted as a precaution, Kantarovski comes on. 64th Stefanutto with the free kick, whipping it in for Neill who heads it over the bar. 72th Just as Adrian Leijer warms up to replace Stefanutto, Stefanutto gets shown a Red card for a nasty challenge. 73rd Leijer comes on for Rukavytsya to move to leftback, Vidosic moves into a attacking role. 85th Leijer with the throw-in into to Vidosic who shoots and it is just wide. 87th DeVere comes on for Wilkshire, swaps role with Neill. 89th. Lichtsteiner shoots, saved by Langerak and cleared behind by DeVere, Corner. 4th. Barnetta whips in a corner and Cahill puts it behind for another Corner. 4th. Barnetta's second corner is too long and goes behind for a goal kick. 11th. Kantarovski plays it forward for Brosque who puts it wide, goal kick. 12th. Ziegler plays it in for Derdiyok who shoots it ridiculously wide. 20th. Derdiyok with a one on one situation on Langerak who pulls off a brilliant save on debut and puts it behind for a Swiss corner. 21st. Schwegler crosses it in and Langerak comes out and saves it with ease. 35th. Barnetta on the counter attack storms down the left flank, passing it forward for Derdiyok who passes it back to Barnetta with a terrific curling shot that finds it's way into the back of the net. SWITZERLAND 1 – 0 AUSTRALIA 44th. Referee calls for 1 minute of added time. 45+1 Inler dispossesses Kantarovski in midfield, plays a beautiful ball forward to Derdiyok who has a shot, reflected off Langerak, has another shot and this time he scores. 45+2. Referee blows for half time. SWITZERLAND 2 – 0 AUSTRALIA Half Time Substitution: James Troisi on for Harry Kewell. 54th. Cahill with a free kick puts it wide. 61st. Triple substitution by Australia, Spiranovic on for Neill, Leijer on for DeVere and Emerton on for Culina, Bresciano is now captain. 65th Bresciano plays it forward to Brosque who puts it wide. 72nd Barnetta crosses it in for Behrami, who scores the easiest goal of his life. Game over for Australia. SWITZERLAND 3 – 0 AUSTRALIA 77th. McDonald comes on for Brosque as Australia go to a more traditional 4-2-3-1. 82nd. Troisi with the free kick forward to Cahill with a brilliant header which almost scores, Corner. 89th. Referee calls for 3 minutes of added time. 90+4. Referee blows for full time. Stefanutto with the throw-in, into Valeri forward to Cahill passing it forward to McDonald who shoots and scores his first for Australia. This formation change is working for Australia. McGlinchey passes it forward to Bertos who shoots, Schwarzer unnecessarily puts it behind for a corner. 27th. Oughton with the corner but it goes out for a throw-in. 29th. Not given. 82nd. Rory Fallon towards the corner flag crosses it in and almost accidentally scores, Schwarzer has to put it behind for a corner. 83rd. Bertos with the corner, cleared by Spiranovic for a New Zealand throw. 84th.
