gillskill
When it comes to applying the 'fade to transparency' to the Background Left/Right logos, what exactly do i need to do in CS4?
michaeltmurrayuk
If you are making logos in Photoshop it is easier to use the Action Tool (or if you don't want to use the action you can still look at it to see what the steps are), the Action file can be downloaded here: http://cid-dd1af87215b768fb.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Guides/Logos/FM09/FM09%20Standard%20Logos%20Action%20File.zip
gillskill
Thanks. I've tried using the Action Tool, but when it gets to 'Make' I get the message 'The command "Make" is not currently available', and am left floundering. Either, what do I need to do to get 'Make' working, or what do I need to do manually - I think I can sus out 'New: channel', but 'At: mask channel' loses me. kremmen
That error comes up when the background layer is locked - just go to the Layer window (right side panel) and double click the padlock symbol and hit ok when the new layer window pops up. Save it and run the action again and it should be ok.
