DietSpam Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Wasn't aware that saved game editors could do that. None the less, there is a way to change a players name after the game has started. What you need to do is find the database you are using on that particular save. These are located in your Documents\sports interactive\football manager 2008\db folder Once you are inside there you should see a folder called inc. Hop in there. You should see a file called Fake.inc. Open it with note pad. It's pretty simple once you open the file as it tells you what to do at the top and there is already a name change.
