mcleod_69_69_69
I am about to sign a really good regan and I'm not sure how to proceed. I am managing a club in Italy and they don't seem to have a reserve league. So should I loan him out as he is not good enough for my first team and wont get any games in the reserves. mr_whitey
Why not put him in your youth team and get a suitable senior player to tutor him?
SWaRFeGa
I also manage in Italy (Milan) and enjoy buying plenty of good youngsters. I farm them out to affiliates or put them up for loan ONLY to teams who play in active leagues. If they're not picking him, bring him back (provided you have the option to)

SWaRFeGa
yeah i'll think i'll do that Good stuff Handy tip: Keep hold of shift (or control) and select all the players you wish to send out > then select "offer to club" and "loan". Should get plenty of interest if the circumstances are right! Note: they cannot be YTH players. Then use the "transfer centre" to sort through them and select the best offers. Magnakai Haaskivi
If he's on the fringe of being good enough, you may want to consider keeping him around and tutoring him, then working him gradually into games. First team action is a big part of progress; some of my best regens were kids who filled in while a senior player was injured.
The Knowles
What i've done with a couple of my regens is put them into the first team and just accept that as part of their development they will make mistakes. Gradually as some of them have improved these mistakes have become less and less and their attributes have increased and their performances have got better. Jedaye
The age of the player would be helpful as this will effect how to get the best out of him.
