stuart1888
If i sign a player for my Celtic team who is 17 and non British he becomes home grown after 3 years and is eligible for my Champions League squad as a home grown player. My question is this, if i sign him then loan him out for three seasons does he still become homegrown? I guess he shouldn't because he hasn't been trained by Celtic but at the same time i find sending my young players out on loan can be vital to their development but there is no point if he isn't going to be seen as homegrown. grahamf
It was the case in FM2007 that loaning them out didnt effect HG status as they are still owned by your club. But I havnt checked to see if it has changed.
sebbie
This won't affect them as they are signed to club and regnoised as training at your club no matter if you loaned them out the same as in real life.
