Robs Aston Villa Tactic

Recommended Posts

I've devised a 4-4-2 with my Aston Villa save that has achieved great success and scores alot of goals. It is quite consistent with some brillaint cup runs and 4 consecutive top 4 places.

Roberto Soldado has bagged 45+ goals a season for the last 4 years, and would suggest a player similar to him for the right striker role.

I have a very creative midfield pairing of Fabian Delph (James Rodriguez) and Gojiko Kacar (Annan to shore up the midfield in closing stages)

I started with the Tactic Creator and then changed to the old fashioned way.

Please let me know how you get on, will be interesting to see other people results

i have tested your tactic during some matches with Heerenveen and Manchester City... Results are encouraging...

City 3 - Chelsea 2

Oldham 0 - City 1

Blackburn 1 - City 2

Heerenveen 2 - Wisla 1

Heerenveen 2 - VVV 1

PSV 0 - Heerenveen 1

All 3 matches we played very good... Especially i was very contended about ball possession...

Let me ask some questions to you if you don't mind...

1-Do you use some Opposition Instructions?

2-What are the spesific roles of each positions? If you can provide more info about your tactic, i am sure that you will take more interest...

3-I use Adebayor as "Soldado type forward", but he seemed not score too much... What can I do?

4-Do you score from corners? I think your tactic very solid and consistent but your defending and attacking corner setups are just horrible... It seems impossible to score from corners and most conceded goals came from corners during my tryings...

But i think it is very consistent especially about ball possession and team defending.... Keep up the good work... Congratulations...

I never have used O.I as I feel it would conflict with normal player instructions.

Strong Fullbacks, they are not used for attacking really so good tackling, positioning and strength. The defence works as a unit. Pace isn't really needed, I have a young left back regen who has amazing stats apart from a measly 8 pace but he still excels there.

On the wings pace is needed with good passing.

3-I use Adebayor as "Soldado type forward", but he seemed not score too much... What can I do?

I think Carlos Tevez would be much more suited to this position because of his much higher mental attributes, with Adebayor on the left.

4-Do you score from corners? I think your tactic very solid and consistent but your defending and attacking corner setups are just horrible... It seems impossible to score from corners and most conceded goals came from corners during my tryings...

I have not touched the corner instructions, any input here would be greatly appreciated. My centre backs got 8 goals between them from corners.

Thanks for the input, feel free to try the corner set ups and we can make this even better.
