T0MMY51NGH
I am confused about how new signings become homegrown as i have seen teams like chelsea with spanish players who are homegrown ( i am in 2015 by the way) How do i make a player homegrown? JohnTheRed
Hey, as I understand it they have to be trained by a club for 3 seasons before their 21st birthday to be classed as homegrown. If you look at Chelsea's youth and reserve teams they are fully of kids from different nations so by the time 2015 comes around they would indeed be considered homegrown. Ohh so you have to be under 21? SO Robinho has been at my club for almost 3 years , and on his profile it says 5days left , does that not mean he will turn homegrown? Administrators Neil Brock Posted December 30, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 30, 2009 No he'll gain British nationality (if he chooses to) which means he won't need a work permit to play in the country anymore. This is different from being 'homegrown'.
