afced7
Just keep playing him, don't be angry with him. He'll score eventually, and once the drought is finished he'll probably start scoring again
SFraser
If it is a confidence problem keep telling him "You have Faith" at the start of every match.

silva_gunner
Its your tactics. Seriously, the AI often works out how to counter your tactics in season 2.
johnny_44
It can't be my tactics I have had the same tactics for 10 years with Newcastle . Anyway he has started scoring now Anyway when your strikers get goal draughts what do u do ?
SFraser
Its your tactics. Seriously, the AI often works out how to counter your tactics in season 2. It is very often tactics, but motivating players and saying the right things to them at the right time plays a very big role in this game. If the guy didn't start banging in the goals after I said to tell him "You have Faith" I would have said it was a tactical issue, but in this case it would appear to be that he has trouble handling the pressure of his team. "It's your tactics!" is very often correct, but for FM09 it should actually be "It's either your Tactics or it is a Motivation issue!" Ofcourse when it comes to crunch time during a season it is actually an "Important Match!" issue, but that is for another thread.
