Scouts return no recommendations

I have fixed the issue, SI

 

when you select the tactic in focus then you get no recommended players
 

when you select Any tactic then you get recommendations

nope, still broken

I've also had this issue, I am about to post it, I thought it was because my number of scouts were dropped to 0 by the board, and I can't ask for more. No idea why that happened but my old scouts were still contracted so I made assignments and got no results just like you're describing, although I did have scouted players in my player search.

Assigning multiple scouts and analysts for one focus yields no reports, maybe try that?  Also, there are so many players that are actually scouted that fit the criteria but don't ever get recommended.

 

This is honestly so disheartening to me. I've spent most of the weekend trying different approaches to scouting and I'm getting 1-2 recommended players with what lads at the discord suggested and just resort to using player search to find players.

 

For example this is my Austria focus as GNK Dinamo and noone is currently recommended.

 

 

But in player search I have this lad who clearly fits the bill and has B+ grade

 

 

And no, he's not in near matches or in progress

 

These are all players that are interested in signing and fit the requirements for that focus and yet NONE of them are recommended

Something is honestly wrong with recruitment focus and anything that I try does not give me same results as it did in FM22 and previous versions.

 

I fired up fm 22 with my Everton save and look at all these recommended players that I get fortnightly!

Same problem here. Each scout has at least 18 for judging ability/potential. Sent them all out to different regions to find me any player that fits my tactic with a 4 star potential, between the ages of 15 and 27 and after a year, theyve come back with none...

 

Ive got scouts in South America, Southern Europe, Central Europe, Northern Europe. Not one person showing up

Same problem in my Newcastle save.

The recommendations don't show up in the "recruitement focus" but do show up as "recruitement focus matches" when i list all players.

Also: I have a focus where I want to scout young players (20 or below) and when I click on "in progess", I see that my scouts are looking at players like 37 year old Adriano.

Same in my Sweden save

Im having the same issue. It seems to be that if you set a focus and the players it would return have already been scouted then those players aren't returned. I have posted re this.

Looked for any 3*+CA ability in Germany as a 'Standard' search, Callum Hudson-Odoi was recommended. Made a search for AML (Inverted Winger) with 3.5* CA and aged between 21-25 as a 'Top' Priority and no one was returned despite CHO being a 3.5* player

Has this been investigated or looked at at all?

Hello, once the ongoing focus ends, the findings are filed under the completed focus section, and it restarts. So if you navigate to the completed focus section you will probably find your reports.

Hi, but why does it end? Also in inbox it says assignment 'update' and it doesn't mention that I should go to completed focus section to look for players it suggests, and there's not one place where they are all displayed. Also, if there's like 15 focus assignments I'd have to go 15 times a month into completed and scroll further and further to get to focus that just finished.

 

Can there be a screen where all suggestions from one focus are displayed and not dispersed in so many focus assigments when in reality it's only one?

An "ongoing" focus shouldn't end. That's why it's called an "ongoing focus."

It goes in phases, so by being ongoing it completes its initial duration and then restarts. 

Hi Sport Interactive!  any update / solution to this problem that is ruining the recruitment part of the game???

The recruitment system is completely broken up on this opus. We understand nothing:
- We see our recruiters being sent "ongoing" and the assignment ends for no reason. We find ourselves with an endless list of completed assignments. It is indigestible.
- We can't even remove players we're not interested in from the list of targeted searches.
- Our scouts watch players for several games with the analyst (what is he for anyway??) without being asked anything. As a result, we receive in our mailbox finished reports of players that we didn't even ask for. It is incomprehensible.

Anyway, I'll stop here because I could spend all day on this but I wanted to say that you have spoiled my experience of the game, I who usually loved recruitment. And what worries me the most is that the subject is very little discussed and I don't have the impression that you take it seriously. I'm thinking of coming back to FM22.

To the original poster @-Jef- - we've checked your save and this isn't reproducing for us here. To just check, once the focus ends the findings can be found under the 'Completed Focus' section as it'll then restart. Are you definitely checking it after it has ended in the completed section and not at the point where it's restarted?
