  • In Game Editor Staff contract issue

    Hi there,

    There's an issue with the in game editor when it comes to editing the staff contract;

    Can only edit the contract expiry date and wages.

    The rest of the functions i can't see the value when ticking the box and can't edit the value or even disable it after ticking the box;

    Its like the functions are invisible.

    • Yearly Wage Rise
    • Promotion Wage Rise / Relegation Wage Drop
    • Top Division Promotion Wage Rise / Top Division Relegation Wage Drop
    • Contract Extension after Promotion
    • Will leave at end of contract / will explore options at end of contract
    • Non-Playing Job Offer release clause
    • Waive Club Compensation for Managerial Role
    • Percentage of Club Compensation Required for Managerial Role

    Please help to look into this issue.

    My version of Football Manager 2023 is on Steam (Version 22.3.0)

    As you can see, i have ticked the yearly wage rise etc and it showing in the background.

    You cant see in the edit club contract details page that the options are enabled in the box or even see the values.

    This issue was brought to SI's attention during the BETA phase - there are numerous separate posts about it.

    We still await a response as to why this hasn't been fixed 4 months later.

    We've paid £6.99 (in addition to paying for the game) and one of its basic features doesn't even work. 

    You'll note that no AI staff will have any bonuses in their contracts because of this issue and nor are we able to do anything about it through the in game editor.

    Clearly not an issue high up on Si's priorities...

    I had no issues with this problem when playing Football Manager 2021 and older.

    This issue occurred in Football manager 2022 too and raised this issue in the 2022 forum.

    It was looked into but wasn't resolved/fixed at all.

    I do hope this issue can be fixed and resolved in the next update.

    In game editor still doesn't allow the user to change agreed contract clauses (check box clicking doesn't change the check box when already checked).

     

    Any response on this whatsoever or will we have to pay 6.99 in FM24 for the same breaking bug?
