Game weather BUG, why hasn’t it been fixed?

We have made improvements in this area but it's not something we're going to be able to fully resolve this FM cycle. 

We can look into this further in a future FM game.

Is this an engine problem? I'm disappointed with this, the FM25 will also have an engine change. I already expected you to have more and more questions

The current match engine has reached its pinnacle.  The weather has never been correct in all the series made so its obviously something that can't be fixed with the current engine . For a good rain effect try dribbling some water on your face but seriously I'm sure if it could be fixed it would . I just use my imagination.

But in my impression, this BUG appeared in FM24, before the downpour weather, it is impossible to look like this game screen, it is not a rainy day, not to mention a downpour.  It can be said that the previous picture effect was not good enough, but it will never be the case that the weather is completely wrong.  So I don't know what the old FM24 changed to cause this problem.

Why are you selling your game to players when it's not ready yet? Deceiving the player like this? Now there are more and more problems, the picture effect of this rainy day, there is no rain at all, and the light will suddenly dim. Although the light returns to normal after refreshing the Skin. But the problem of not having any rain effect remains unresolved. This is a completely half-finished game

If you get the issue your screenshot is showing can you reload the skin during a match.

Pause match, hit Cog icon in top right, 'View All Preferences', 'Reload Skin'.

Now the point of the problem is that the game weather is rainy, but the game screen effect is not rainy at all, you can't see any rain. You checked the PKM competition file I sent before, and the picture you saw had the effect of rain?

But the problem with this rainy day didn't occur until after your last game update. It was your update that added this issue。

The picture below shows the effect of rainy day, which is before your game update. After the update did not appear again, after the update of the rainy picture effect all become sunny. Before your last update, I gave feedback on the problem of sunny days with insufficient light. After your update, the picture effect on sunny days has been improved, but the rainy days have completely disappeared, so I don't know why you are like this.

We didn't change anything in the backend to effect rainy days, (I've had some myself) you've most likely just not encountered any matches where it has rained, also sometimes it only rains for short periods during a match, which might not be when your highlights are.

Disappointed with your attitude!

I have sent the PKM file many times, didn't you check it? The weather forecast for the game is heavy rain, and the game screenshots have been sent to you. Why don't you admit your problem? So you think this is my problem? Has nothing to do with you? You don't have anything to fix?

I have uploaded my game save "乌蝇哥 陈-morecambe. fm", you can personally view the game screen of any rainy game, my game season has played several games with rainy weather forecast.   If you can find an image of it raining, even for a minute, please send me a screenshot.   If you do find it, then I'll admit it's my problem.   It has nothing to do with your game.   If you can't find it, please fix your BUG.   Don't sell half-finished games to players.

The issue of the weather report not always matching what's happening in-game is a known issue, but as I have said previously it's not something we will be able to resolve in this FM cycle.

And I told you I uploaded the game archive for you to check for yourself. Why can't you admit your mistakes? You can check my game save, can you find the rainy scene? Even if it's just for a minute

Because this problem hasn't happened before, it just started on FM24, you know what I mean? And you said you didn't change it? FM23 weather forecast is what the weather, the game screen is what the weather. Do you think you do not have any rain effect on rainy days, or the probability of rain effect in the game screen is so low, you think it is reasonable?

 

In fact, climate issues have never been resolved in the FM's, snow simply does not exist, torrential rain only happens when the referee blows the whistle and never before the match, throughout the game we do not see water and the uniforms remain "clean" and not wet. I believe that this is not so relevant, I am based on the fact that FM is not a graphic game and never can be, its idea is different but the issue of lighting in games and match times and if It's raining, at least show the water.

Just give us back the rain. there was in all previous versions of this same match engine. it's just in 24 that does not show anymore. it's a pity.

 

"I haven't experienced rainy weather for a long time. It's already 2024, and you're saying we can't solve this issue. If you can't even fix such a simple weather effect, then make a proper game. If you can't handle that, don't work there."

Just to reiterate, matches can have rain in FM24, 

A thing to note is that rain can show up for only parts of a match, if you are watching on for example key highlights the rain can show up for only parts of a match and so can be missed.

I sent you a match file. It was labeled "FULL RAIN," but not a single drop of rain fell during the entire match. In addition, in older versions, there used to be deformations in the grass, but now that is also nonexistent. Please review.

I had rain in 90% of my matches in FM23 despite playing in souther Spain areas most of the time, and now in FM24 i haven't seen a single drop of rain after 2 seasons, despite the forecast saying there is an apocalyptical storm lol. Yea definitely it's bugged.
