In game ignoring results made in editor but accepts fixtures

Process:

1. Created fixtures using FIxtures Generator and data with results from wildstat

2. Saved fixture.txt

3. Loaded DB in pre-game editor

4. Added national rule for Italy, Serie A

5. Ticked specific fixtures

6. Uploaded fixture.txt

7. Saved DB

8. Tested rules (simple and advanced)

9. Saved DB

10. Used 2023 fmf file for custom start date

11. Game started 06.11.2023

12. Fixtures was correct, results was not

 

Same issue with Premier League. What am I doing wrong?

 

Same problem with my Greek fixtures/results

Probably a bug within the editor/game then. Such a shame this have not been tested before release -_-

I wonder how long we have to wait before it will be fixed.

not working someone from SI needs to update this

stop us wasting our time if it is no longer possible

NB-if you look at the leagues in England

there seems to be fixtures added to all the leagues,[bar EPL] but they are blank show 0 fixtures

so looking like the fixtures are hard coded[and hidden in a folder we cannot access] as I checked in game and sky bet leagues have the correct fixtures when you check the games

However I have added my own fixtures with results for the EPL up to today and then started the game on the 06/11/23 using a custom start date- the fixtures are correct but all the results are simmed

@Zachary Whyte is the above issue down to SI hard coding something due to licensing?

or is this down to the 3 game mode options

what needs to be selected here perhaps?

Test 1I tried your World

with my file selected and England as playable

result is this-you cant even select a team England is greyed out

on the chose a team to manage page

 

test 2 Real World

exact same outcome as above

test 3 original DB

I was able to pick a team to manage

  the fixtures are correct in EPL but the  results wrong in game[I started with a late start date of 18/9/23 and also tried with a later custom start date all fixtures are simmed prior to the game start date, it doesnt use the results there have be no issues like this before with any other versions of FM]

Thanks for assisting with this and I am sure it can be resolved

a little suggestion, can you remove the need for users reporting issues/potential bugs in the editor having to submit a save game in the initial report, as what is needed in this sub-forum is the editor data file only and a save game can be included later if needed,

If you don't need to upload a save file when creating a thread, you can tick the box that says 'None'

This issue is connected to this bug too

I have added 2 files to the cloud here they are edited files both fmf

1.FM24 England fixtures and results to level  5 Advanced Rules -This allows England to be selected at game start

2.FM24 England fixtures and results tolevel  5- [The same file as above but basic rules]-

using this England cannot be selected at game start

The issue I believe is this-

all leagues apart from EPL have league fixtures set up for 2023 but they are totally blank

suggesting the actual fixtures are hard coded and somewhere else we cannot access

when I remove those blank league fixtures, the file now in advanced rules allows England to be selected and uses my fixtures but not the reults

did you get those fmf files and do you need anymore from other leagues

Hi, we should have enough files, it's still being investigated. I'll let you know if we need more information. 

Also noticed with this that the file is tested and verified

if you make another edit and so making the file need to be retested you are unable to do so all leagues show as verified? so there is a bug there too
