Goalkeepers: Positioning, Agility, Reflexes, Handling

All outfield positions: Stamina, Determination

Centre backs: Tackling, Marking, Positioning, Jumping, Concentration, Bravery

Full backs: Tackling, Pace, Acceleration, and either (Marking, Positioning, Concentration) or (Crossing, Passing, First Touch, Creativity)

Defensive Midfielders: Passing, Tackling, Marking, Positioning, Work Rate

Attacking Midfielders: Passing, Creativity, Technique, First Touch, Work Rate

Wingers: Crossing, Dribbling, Balance, Pace, Acceleration, Off The Ball

Target Men: Strength, Heading, Jumping, Finishing, Composure, Bravery

Fast Strikers: Pace, Acceleration, Finishing, Composure, Off The Ball, Anticipation

Those are the least you should have. If you're a better side, look for more.

I would say that the following are the defining attributes of the position. Some of these are live-and-die-by and some are a matter of taste and not so nailed on. For example all the best AMC's in the game have near maximum rating in the key AMC attributes I post, and those that don't have high ratings are not very good.
