Co-efficient points

After 17years of slugging it in Gibraltar, the team has finally made it into the Europa League group stages but now I'm a bit worried about our co-e because we are incredibly underpowered. everyone else is rated 3.5+ whilst we are 1. We lost the first match 6-0 and I'm convinced we lose all of our matches.

The question is; will all 6 defeats knock down the co-e or will the fact we made it to the group stage be more telling later on?

You are guaranteed 2 points for reaching the Europa League group stage so your score will increase if you've never got that far before & your club will probably have quite a nice jump in the club coefficient rankings, how that translates to Gibraltar's position on the nation coefficient rankings depends on how other nations have performed in Europe.

Qualifying is always better than not qualifying. You won't lose points for getting that far and getting pummelled each week. If you start to qualify consistently, your points will rise. And then it all depends how the other nations around you performed, as Barside says.
