SpartanUTD
Although I'm in my 13th season in FM2013, I've only just tried to do more match prep than general training. Although usually my players over 25don't get much of improvement, I have the impression that now, with more match prep, some of them are getting improvements that with general training they did not. Some U19s seem to respond better too. Is it a fact that with more match prep, players improve more that with general training, or is it just my impression? HUNT3R
General training is what improves players. Match prep is just.... match prep.
Dr. Hook
Match prep is just that- it has nothing to do with individual training regimes in the way you mean it. Match prep gives your team some slight boosts to specific areas for the upcoming game, such as "attacking set pieces" etc. If you are seeing improvements then it is coincidental.
