We're now at the end of season and I have pre-season starting at 7/7 Trying to setup a friendly to use as a testimonial for Messi's retirement. The option is greyed out. No matter what date I select I cannot use any date for a testimonial. Leads me to believe that you cannot use a testimonial for a retiring player? This year was the first year that I had players at a club long enough for them to qualify for a testimonial, and they were scheduled by my assman well in advance of the player's retirement (around 15 years of service) and the players didn't start retiring until 3 years later. So, perhaps in-game, you should just schedule the testimonial when the option comes up and the player's still active? Obviously doesn't help Messi, but I'm sure he'll be fine in his retirement, counting his millions in salary and endorsements. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
