The Instant Regret of Hipolito Rivero.

Bear with me here, this requires a little explaining, and may fall under the "put weird things into the game and weird things come out" category.

At the moment, I'm tooling around with a fictional nation I'm creating- as much to familiarise myself with the editor and get more used to creating league and cup structures from scratch. It's a simple, three-tiered league with 12 teams in each division, totaling 36 made-up teams. Right now, I'm making a few changes, simming a few years to check the effects etc- very much just testing things out. So far, so good.

So who is "Hipolito Rivero"?

Well, in the current test run, he's the former chairman of one of these teams, having left the club in May 2019. Since selling up, he has been relentlessly trying to buy another club- apparently, pretty much any club. He's targeted big clubs, small clubs, anyone- 11 different ones in total, with a total of 28 failed takeover bids- and it's only now June 2020. Most of them have been as a Consortium, with a couple as a Local Businessman. It's very curious behaviour indeed- I'm not sure I've seen anything like it in a non-edited database, so perhaps it can be put down to that.

The question is, will he just go away eventually, or keep randomly putting club after club under embargo as they talk things through?

I almost feel kinda sorry for him- he just wants to be a Chairman again, but nobody's selling up.
