Dune297
Overview Hey guys . As I enjoyed my SK Vard Haugesund, which abruptly ended as I was sacked by a ruthless new owner, I have decided to do another one. This time I will be doing Aalst, a team in the Belgain Third Divsion A. I'm hoping to do something similar to what I have done with Vard. I apologize for starting with a team predicted first, but it was suggested to me and I went through with it. I'd like to thank everyone who gave me suggestions in my Vard thread for assisting me in making this decision. Please feel free to post, support, tips, and criticism are always deeply appreciated ! If you'd like to read my Vard thread, please click the link below. SK Vard Haugesund - Give the Youth a Chance Save Description Patch 11.3 Database Custom Computer Performance 5 stars Leagues Loaded Belgium (Third Divsion) View Only All leagues, all nations. Ask if you have any questions about teams/standings in ANY league. Start Date July 2010 Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Cazlekkal?feature=mhee Club Description Club Name V.C. Eendracht Aalst 2002 Media Prediction 1st Expectations Win the Third Division Stadium Pierre Cornelisstadion (Capacity: 7500) Club Information SC Eendracht Aalst is a Belgian football club based in Aalst, East Flanders. It changed its name in 2002 after former Belgian First Division club K.S.C. Eendracht Aalst had gone into liquidation. So they could not get the license and the new team began at the third division level. They played the next two seasons in second division (2003–2005) and are now back to the third division and they are at the 3rd place. While the 2004–05 championship was over, the club needed to know if first division side F.C. Brussels and second division side R.E. Virton were to receive the professional football license to know where they would play next season. Indeed, while 17th K. Patro Maasmechelen had no license, they were obviously relegated. So if one of the two submentionned clubs were refused the license, Aalst would have had played the third division playoffs while if they were both refused the license, Aalst would have remained in second division. Finally, both clubs did receive it so the team was relegated. In 2011, the name of the team got changed back to S.C. Eendracht Aalst. They've also requested to change the name back to the former K.S.C. Eendracht Aalst, which will be possible in 2012, if they receive good advice from the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA). Belgium Third Division A The Belgian Third Division A is one of the two leagues at the third level of the Belgian football league system, the other one being the Belgian Third Division B. This division has existed since the 1952-53 season and is played every year with 16 clubs. Prior to this, the third level in the Belgian football league system was called Promotion and was divided into four leagues of 16 clubs each. Prior to the 1931-32 season, the Promotion was divided into three leagues.[2] My Steam Feel free to contact me at any time! http://steamcommunity.com/id/DUNEB/ My Rig CPU: Intel® Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz Overclocked to 3.8 GHz HSF: Noctua NHD-14 MOBO: ASRock P55 Deluxe RAM: 16gb(4x4gb) Gskill Sniper DDR3 1600 GPU: 2x MSI N460GTX Hawk GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB (SLI) HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SSD: 120gb Vertex 3 Max IOPS Edition, Corsair CMFSSD-128GBG1D 2.5" 128GB, Intel X25-M 160 GB,External (SSDSA2M160G2GC) DVD: ASUS DVD Burner DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS PSU: Corsair 750W SOU: Asus Xonar DX Case: Mountain Mods U2-UFO Horizon Mon: Samsung SyncMaster T260 - 25.5" - 1900x1200 - LCD 1080P Mouse: Logitech Performance Mouse MX Keyboard: Logitech Illuminati OS: Win 7 64Bit Professional All credit goes out to hrbfcrule for the idea, and everyone that is currently doing a Youth Challenge for the inspiration. Dune297
Season 1 Review Team Media Prediction - 1st Final Position - 1st Board Takeover - No Expectations - Win the League Stadium Construction - No Season's Best Players Laurent Depoitre - 19 goals and 3 assists in 24 appearances. Runner up in the Top Goalscorer award. Absolutely outstanding finishing, if he hadn't been injured for a few months he would have no doubt won it. Also won the Fans Player of the Year. Ewout Denys - 16 goals and 13 assists. Was absolutely amazing. Third place in the Top Goalscorer award and also won Player of the Year. Our expert playmaker has also decided to join us for another season . Bob Cousin - 3 goals and an amazing 13 assists for Bob. Although he got few chances, he was able to finish well and as a result added a few goals to his tally. Youth None yet. Could use some defenders since a good majority of them left the club. Dune297
Pre-Season Update Media Prediction - 14th Expectations - Mid-Standing Finish Wage Budget - $20,500 p/w Wage Expenses - $15,918 p/w First Team Youth Team Best Players at the Club Laurent Depoitre - 19 goals last year. Competitive in the Top Goalscorer award as he finished second. Definitely can finish well, hope to see more of the same in this league. 3.5 star PA/CA. Ewout Denys - 4.5 star CA/PA. He was absolutely explosive last year with 16 goals and 13 assists. Can't say much more... absolutely amazing. Bob Cousin - Was great last year with 3 goals and 13 assists. Crazy playmaker. Too bad he has a slipped disc so he won't be joining us for a few months. Youth Prospects - Season 2 Boris Mukeba (YP1) (ST) - Report - Extremely fast! Came through last year, but his potential really went high this year so I decided to include him. Ryan Delhaye (YP2) (DC) - Report - Not sure about him. My defensive coach gives him a 2.5 star potential, but my assistant and other coaches give him a 2 star potential. Looks like he might be decent in the back. I'm hoping his potential will improve. Adnane Yilmaz (YP3) (DC) - Report - Another central defender rated at 2.5 stars. This one has 2.5 stars from every coach though, so things may be looking bright for him. Robin Ferrara (YP4) (GK) - Report - Came through last year. Another 2.5 star rated player. Looks like he could be a decent backup goalkeeper in the future. Dune297
Noticed a bit of a coincidence while looking through my youth team. My thoughts may sound a bit stupid, but I see some similarities. The reason I clicked on his name was because I was surprised to see an American on my youth team. I then noticed his name, which was "Austin Martin." Sounds a bit like Aston Martin, but anyways, Austin is where I currently live, so I decided to check out his personal page. Turns out he was born in Tucson, Arizona, where I was born and grew up. Big coincidence there . Sadly he only has a one star potential, but you never know, I might keep him around . Coentrao
With that pace and flair (and off the ball at 9 isn't too horrible at that level) mukeba looks a very decent prospect despite his technique and driblling being so poor. Going great so far, you think another promotion might be possible?
