Premier2k
After playing with FM10 for a while and numerous restarts, I've decided to keep a track of my career as Bath City and beyond. I'll be including results, transfers, finances - and maybe the occasional post match report (for big games only) I should point out in case I get flamed.....I suck at FM and I know I suck.... All comments/suggestions are welcome. Premier2k
2009/10 - Bath City - Blue Square South I thought this season would be a struggle after looking at my squad but boy was I wrong! Media Prediction : 9th Board Expectations : Top Half finish Transfer budget : £1k/Wage budget : £1.99k p/w Finances : £24,209 Sponsors : 3 year main kit sponsor deal at 7.5k per season. Ends 2010 Season Tickets Sold : 112 At the beginning of the season I managed to get a few wins under my belt and was hovering around 12th. I managed to get rid of some dead wood and sign a few players, namely: Michael Herbet - GK Noui Laifa - D/WBL Cedric Vanoukia - DC Romain Sabathier - DC/SW Stephane Monsanto - AML, FC Arnaud Marchand - DC, DM, MC Arassen Ragaven - MC Arnaud Despres - ST All of these players really impressed me and Arassen Ragaven came pretty close to Player of the Season award. Competitions Blue Square South - 4th place, lost in playoff finals against Havant and Waterlooville FA Cup - Didn't get past Newport County in the 4th Qualifying match, lost 2-0 FA Trophy - Runners up with Mansfield running out victors in a 1-0 win at Wembley. Team played really well to reach the final, we played Kettering in the Semi-final's. We lost 3-0 away to them in the first leg, but clawed back a 4-1 win at home and a thrilling 10-9 win on penalties. Key Players Arassen Ragaven - My best player at Bath, solid in the centre of the park and created a lot of goals. One of the runners up to Player of the Season. A great free buy. Jim Rollo - Solid right back, never let me down. Never got injured. Fans Player of the Year Arnaud Marchand - My trusty DMC, played in MC as an advanced playmaker. Getting the ball past him was an achievement for the opposition.
