I moved on from Forest Green, but the tactic I used there is mostly the same. But there are some differences
Forest in League one I used ----- Inverted Winger on support , on the right side.
----- both fullbacks were on support as well. (mainly because of low stamina and decision making, now my current fullbacks can run around longer and have better skills)
----- for more control I used DLP instead of AP in the midfield position
----- also the two midfielders duty's change positions, depends witch of my players is stronger AP or Mezzala. I tend to play them on their stronger foot
----- DLF on attacking duty, but now my current striker has poor finishing but he has very good physical skills.
Keep in mind that I only managed that high amount of points after the second season, I always build for my tactic. So it might not work at first if you don't bring in players for it. And yes sometimes it is congested in some areas but the amount of times the opposition is dragged around on the pitch and out of position is lovely to see.
GK -- not necessarily good ballplayer, just good one on ones or good shot stopper.
FB -- they should be able to run a lot, decent crossing
CB -- Position attribute and good heading so they can stop counterattacks.
DM -- mentally strong, good physical attributes.
AP -- press resistant, passing is very important
Mez -- off the ball, technique and finishing, passing
W -- dribbling, crossing and pace
IF -- dribbling, has to be a good finisher, he will get the most chances to score
DLF -- this position needs physicality
