MrSlav
If you keep a player on the bench for every game, will his stats increase as much as if he were playing every game? So is it training that raises the stats or game time? Thanks for your help
BlackTiger
Both. Training will improve certain aspects but he needs matches for experience and developing other stats.

Caesarius
I remember some years ago a "rule of 30' " to take that game as "played". So, lets say I had this player asking for first team football so if he came out of the bench on min 55 for a few matches, later on he was happy again. Is this rule of 30' still on FM09? mrmeee17
No, he won't. Game time more significantly so than training.
