Les Girondins
Players always seem to 'respond' to speculation about them re: transfers twice. Often with negative effects. Anyone else noticed this?
ftg87
Weird, can't say anything like that has happened in my games so far Have you looked round the bugs forum for anything similar?
Les Girondins
Nope .. wanted to float it first. Here's an example of it happening: Initial rebuff. Player response (positive): Second player response (negative):
Les Girondins
Again again .. to provide more than one clear example .. Initial rebuff: Player response (positive): Second response (positive on this occassion): One seems to be local rag the other a press conference. Just wondering if its intended to be this way? Because it sucks a lot that a player can go from Superb morale to 'Good' or unsettled or worse just by the AI speculating. It can happen, as it just did to me, that the AI has speculated about 5-6 of my key players and totally wrecked my team morale despite me saying firmly, nobody is going anywhere. CrashOverride
Its possible its desigend to be that way, you often say players popping in more than one media outlet irl if they are being linked with a move away but the contradicting thing is a bit wierd but I have had that once or twice before. ftg87
I've just had a double check through my inbox and definitely can't see the same thing occurring for me and I have had several players speculated about also, so this definitely seems to be a bug at first glance However what you mention about it coming from different sources/interviews intrigues me somewhat, my best advice would be to put these examples up in the bugs forum and see what they have to say about it in there
