Owning stadium

A question I havent been able to find an answer for is:

What difference does it make if your club owns its own stadium?

Any affect on expanding it?

Any affect on getting a new pitch?

Well you cant do any building work on it unless you own it. You usually have to pay rent as well.

My Man Cty game contradicts that though. They have expanded to 60k capacity but cant expand anymore because the council wont let them and they have to pay 50% of gate receipts rent.

I can only assume the expansion to 60k happens in everyones game.

Im fairly sure maintenance fees are higher. I would go into my game and have a look to tell you how much......but my game wont work.

Rostock have to pay £1.5 million a year for rent, but we can upgrade the facilities there like converting 9000 to seating.

what about the pitch - any problem getting a new one?

Nope, but then again it never gets bad always stays in good condition.

I can't relay the pitch at Caersws due to the club not owning the ground, but weirdly, we don't pay any rent either.
