FM 2009 problems

Hi

got fm2009 for christmas been trying too load in on my laptop since then but it when i put the disc into my laptop it does not auto install when i go into my computer and too trhe cd drive it is not showing as having fm2009 in there

has anyone got any ideas please i am pulling my hair out here

Do you know if you have a cd drive or a dvd drive?

If you dont know if you put a DVD in it what happens?

FM09 is on a DVD and as such you need a DVD drive (and a fairly modern laptop) to run it.

i have a DVD drive i got the laptop like 4 months ago if that helps

i have also tried the disc in a few friends pc and laptops and it works fine

Test a couple of other DVDs in the laptop.

Yeah it should read the DVD then.

You should be able to download steam from Steam and then download the game from there using your exsisting product key if all else fails.

I dont know what else to suggest. Does your machine read other dvd's?

yeah, reads other dvds and games fine just watched dark knight while waiting on sega's customer support line i will try the stream link thank you

i got 1 hour 10 mins into the film before i got told too go exchange my copy

so i can download the game direct from stream then?

Yeah once you download steam and register there is a way you can download the game. I cant rember what it is and I cant launch steam from here to look.

Good thing about steam is that you can download it again if you have to rebuild your pc or get a new one!
