footynut Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 I can't believe it. Playing as Shrewsbury Town in League One, I've just knocked Liverpool out in the 5th Round of the FA Cup! And that was after being reduced to ten men in the 69th minute! I went 1-0 up in the 40th minute and then after getting a man sent off in the 69th minute scored again in the 74th minute to make it 2-0. Liverpool pulled a goal back in the 88th minute but I held on to secure a place in the Quarter Final where I'll play either Plymouth of the Championship or Wolves of the Premiership. Is the dream on? Has anyone ever taken a lower League team to the Final?
