TomK
Hi, i am looking to buy a laptop to replace my desktop PC. I was just wondering if anybody could recommend a laptop that can run FM without any slowness and can run it fast, as i will only really use the internet / football manager on it I am willing to spend £500 to £600 Thanks (sorry if this thread annoys anyone)

Wakers
any reason why you want a laptop over a desktop? There's a semi-decent one on play.co.uk for £399 - but its got an intel graphics chip, so be sure you don't want to do anything else with it! Check ebuyer.co.uk, pcspecialist (do this first! you can customise your spec completely), dell's special offers and then play.co.uk
Wakers
i am actually going to cry. You really didn't need to post that.

Wakers
Lets not derail the poor guy's thread and get it closed. There is nothing wrong with playing on laptop, i just want to make sure that the OP knows desktops are better value for money.
JJ 691990
my problem is the amount of thread's about people wanting to buy new laptops and what is best for running fm. not once have i said there is a problem with playing it on a laptop. i have said it would be easy if somebody who has a good laptop to create a thread stating the system requirements needed to run the game smoothly, so people can base their search for a new laptop on that. just means there isnt so many threads about the same thing. thats all? TomK
I think that SI should create a new forum maybe for people with questions about laptops / specs
Cityull
ok fair enough mate, it is a bit annoying sometimes but people sometimes get stuck and need help too. If i had a problem i would make a new thread. seems right to start a new one rather than joining in other conversations
JJ 691990
yeah fair enough id prob do the same if i needed help. would just make life easier if there was a good thread so people can use it to make their decision.
