Is huge database OK to play??

Is huge database OK to activate and play on it? I do not care about the speed, I am more interested whether it might create some problems for my game like buggy regens or something like that...?

Anyone from SI/Sega to shed some light please...?

I don't see the difference? As long as your computer can handle it, should be fine imo

Its not in the game as a standard option so results of using it are going to be a bit unknown. It must have been left out by SI for a reason ?

As far as I know the biggest issue with it is that in a couple of years the number of players reduces significantly so eventually you'll still get the same amount of players as you would with large, but the spread of players may get messed up a bit.

People have been using it successfully in previous two editions though and I don't remember reports of any real gamebreakers. So I'd say go ahead with it.

I use large then just retain all nations. Works fine for me.

Ok, so if I load up Huge database and run only 2 leagues (full English) and Polish how does it work out with players let's say from South America? Is it worth loading up all players from some coutries as well or huge database means that it is so huge that is not worth loading up all players from another countries as it would not make any difference.

P.S I think I preffered old CM where things were not so complicated

I am sure there must be someone who can answer my question from the 2 the post above. I am about to finish work soon and then I will be heading straight home to start my FM09 career and I would like to have my database concern sorted.
