Competition Records and Ambitions etc.

Not too sure if this is the correct forum or not to put these things in, but when I go to any league or cup (or any competition for that matter) and select the records page, it remains blank. This is the same whether I go to historical or season records; however, clicking on a specific type of record (players, results, sequences) the records appear. So they are being recorded, so to speak but the page where all the records are listed doesn't appear to show (though they all appear ok on club records). Is this a bug or do they appear later (currently in my first season, mid-October)

Secondly, I assume that the long-term ambition in the club confidence has sort of disappeared and merged into the club stature. Bit of a shame that, I imagine that boards/chairmen have longer-term as well as shorter term aspirations.

Finally, I also assume that on the tactics screen during a game when playing with the striker and attacking midfielder and they are duplicated has been logged?!

Anyone have any idea about my first point here?

Sorry I don't know how to do that. Basically, the History screen on any Competition is blank (that includes the total history and current season where ALL the records are shown), but the records DO appear in each individual section (sequences, players etc.)

If you print a screenshot it may be easier to explain. This is how to do it:

1. Press Alt+F9 when on the screen you want to show

2. The screenshot will be saved in My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\screenshots

3. Upload the file to an image hosting website like photobucket

4. Paste the direct link here

When you go into a section of records they will appear.

PS My date game is 21st October 2008.

I think that is a bug. Try searching the bugs forum for a similar topic and if it not one then create a new thread with it.

Cheers - couldn't find anything earlier on it, was quite surprised so I posted here but will look again now.

Ok, I never saw that before either. Hopefully it gets fixed.

I have this too - think this should be flagged up as a bug.

OK It was in the bugs forum lower down posted by someone else so I upped it with the info I posted above but who knows if it will get fixed!
