This is going to sound stupid but.....

I set up the game through steam and it is fine, but how do I launch it if I'm not line? If I click on the steam short cut it just says I can't sign in cos I'm not on line, is there no FM2009 short cut like other games that comes up on desk top?

Easy man.

Log out of steam, save your password (login automatically).

Then log into steam, and click File >> Offline mode.

Then you'll be offline . (Only have to do this once).

Unfortuantely mate, the simple answer is you cant.....

When you installed using Steam, you HAVE TO be online to run the game. i would recommend reinstalling and using uniloc to validate. this will allow you to play offline.

Downside being you need to d/l the patch and install it yourself when its released..

You do not have to be online to run FM through Steam. You can either run it in Offline mode or look at this thread.

Ok, so once I have got off line mode then all I have to do is double click on steam and it should be ok? Thanks for the help!
