crafty bison
What is the definition of each? FM09 tells me that a player cannot go on short-term loan to the same club for more than three months in a season. I assumed a long-term loan is a season loan, but I remember Johan Djourou went on loan from Arsenal to Birmingham for five months (August to January). So, what is the cut-off between long- and short-term loans? Also, a possible bug from the demo. I am Southampton and have Jack Cork on a loan expiring at the end of December. If this is intended to represent a short-term loan, there is a bug, because I can renew it and it says I have had 0 months of short-term loan. But if it is intended as a long-term loan (if the cut-off is five months), why can I not renew it for another long-term loan?

crafty bison
Thanks! Any reason why you can't renew long-term loans? (When I go to 'Renew' Cork's deal, the only options are 1 month, 2 months and 3 months.)
