I'll be buying the game as a boxed version but wondering if like the demo that I won't have to run steam (online or offline) each time after the initial authentication process?

Anyone know?

you wont need to run steam if you have the boxed version i think.

If you don't use Steam to authorise the game and use Unilok instead, either by phone or net, you won't need Steam at all.

Matt: I'd ideally like to authenticate with steam as I usually run it a few times a week to play other games (lets me get those updates automatically), I just don't want to have to have steam.exe running every time I have to load up FM. In the demo I can just open fm.exe and it runs, just wondering if that is what I'll be able to do with the boxed game.
