Cassellz
I just installed the FM09 demo on my DELL Inspiron 6000 laptop. SPECS : 1.86Ghz Processor 504MB RAM Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset. The 3D didn't work, so I wasn't very happy. So a few questions.... Will getting more RAM allow me to play 3D? Or do I need to get a new graphics card? Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I can do? Thanks for any help you can give!
ahmufcwafc
More RAM won't let you play 3D - you need a new graphics card. I have the same one as you, and unfortunately it isn't good enough for 3D

You can't add a new card to a laptop Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I can do? Play 2D or buy a new pc. I'd advise a desktop for the best bang/buck. Thanks for any help you can give! I realise my answers won't make you feel good. Sorry.

rancer890
I'm not hijacking this thread or anything, but since this thread is talking about computer issues, I might as well tell mine since I stumped on why I keep having this problem on the demo... My Specs Dual-Core 2.13GHz processor 2GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS The game freezes every so often. It doesn't matter where. I'm searching up a player's stats and it freezes. I try and find more staff and it also freezes. It's kind of ruining my enjoyment of the game. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats happened to alot of people, i don't think its hardware related. It happened to me the first couple of times I started it and now it seems to have stopped, but I didn't do anything to fix it. Mezz Boms
the second 1. (joke) i really dont know sorry but i wouldnt recommend you buying a cheap graphics card. Graphics cards are released more times than i change my socks, actually scratch that bit it could sound wrong or give people the wrong end of the stick anyway back on subject. You would be better saving up some more cash and getting one that is better because it will save you cash in the long run because you wont have to keep buying new graphics cards as often. Also dont forget to check if your current graphics card is integrated. If it is, its bad news, i dont think you can change it if it is. anyway hope that helped
