Dimony
Is it just me, or do other people think board cup goals should be relative to the draws you get? I'm Luton (League 2) and just went out of the Carling Cup away to Leeds (Championship) and my board aren't happy with my progress in the cup. This is very unrealistic. backpackant
Agreed. It's annoying that you can go unbeaten in the Championship and win it by a mile and have the board say they are disappointed with the 1-0 defeat away at Old Trafford. Mostly cosmetic on 802 patch, but still a bit annoying.
rinso
yeah it definitely needs to be adjusted according to the draws you get!
m-platt
Please can you put this in the FM '09 wishlist thread, I think this is something they definitely need to sort out for the next version as it always gets me
Cookie175
Also for top 4 clubs, the expectations every year are 'to get to the final', I think thats a bit harsh. Most of the time I always draw Man Utd away in the 3rd round or something :\
1Unit1
I'm a darn inclined to agree with you'ze all. I mean the worthless cup is a waste of time anyhow. I often find myself fielding a team of 15 year olds to guarantee my exit. Much like in real life when beef up on the Caccy D's to gain a lack of fitness for the Pro's basketball play offs
