genie scout

sorry to b a dinlow.. but ive just downloaded genie scout not use but ive been playing fm for a few years now and would just like to c what it is people go on about.. anyway i can load it up but how do i implement it into the game?

Just load the saved game file you want in genie scout and then you can search for players, clubs etc.

You can leave FM running if you like but you don't have to.

You don't use it in game. It allows you to search for players in an existing save game outside of FM.

The save game must be saved 'uncompressed' for it to load in Genie Scout (In FM Options > Preferences > Untick 'Compress save games' and press confirm. Save the game as say 'My Save Genie' (if you don't compress your saves no need to do this but it helps if space on your hard drive is tight).

Double click 'FMGenieScout.exe' (it's icon is like a gold football).

Click the folder in the top left corner with the green arrow.

Select the save game you want to search (by default it will look in your User Folder).

Then play around with it.
