Poor Lad

Recommended Posts

I have this young goalkeeper in my Halifax Town game, Josh Proctor, he is only 17 but he played very well in my preseason matches and training. He signed his first professional contract on August 2nd, and he just broke his leg on September 9th ruling him out for 7 months. Do you think that will mess up his career badly?

ouch, gotta feel sorry for him!! not sure how far itll set him back tbh, being a gk... have to feel it would matter more if he were an outfield player, but seeing as gk's tend to hit their prime a lot later, and the fact he's only 17, i think he should still be ok...

it should be ok but im not sure. Other regens (outfield players) can miss out on a massive proportion of thier pa from a bad injury like that but he might be alright since he is a goalie :D I had some good youngster who got a viral infection and was out for ages and he turned out to be lower prem standard rather than world player of the year standard :(
