"The England U18 Academy of Excellence...

...the most promising thing to happen in English football."

In January 2007, The Football Association unveiled plans to secure the long-term future of English football and at the same time produce the stars of tomorrow. The brand new Academy of Excellence is being built in the countryside and includes state-of-the-art training facilites, a 5000 seater stadium (with scope to expand) and exclusive luxury living quarters for players. In order to aid the players to develop, the FA have placed the Academy in the Blue Square Premier. After some controversy, the FA revealed they will have no part in the footballing side of the Academy, thus leaving the Chairman to employ staff of the highest standards.

The idea

A club in the BSP will be replaced by the England U18 Academy of Excellence and the reputation set at 5000. The players of the previous club will be released. There will be 30 players, all under 18, picked at random to play for the Academy. These players CA will be set at 1 and PA 200. When a player approaches his 19th birthday they will either be released or sold (whichever is possible at the time). I will have no sacking unlockable enabled as well as sugar daddy. After one player leaves he will be replaced by purchasing another player when possible. By the end of the first season it is expected the players CA will be similar to the rest of the youth players in the game. This is an experiment to see how well the youth in England are as well as providing England with many future stars.

I have decided to make this experiment open to all users who, despite not physically being involved, will be mentioned throughout the yearly (game time) updates. The available positions are:

Academy Manager

Physio

Outfield Coach

GK Coach

Scout
