kkas
It is often said that for lower league teams that physical stats are the most important for lower league teams. This is even included in the tips that show up while loading (does anyone know where the file where all these tips are stored in?). I have never done a long term lower league game and was wondering if this is still the case as I have heard that mental stats play a much greater role now in 08 even to equal the physical. Also to what extent are technical stats a factor?
NepentheZ
I'm fully confident that Mental Stats are more important. I've noted why in a thread, let me try and find it.

pelicanstuff
In addition to the above, it depends on position to a great extent. A striker with extremely high acceleration and pace will be lethal at this level. No matter how bad his finishing, he will get enough chances to score a lot of goals. Sometimes high single attribute values warp things a bit.
