berty1978 Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 At first glance the European and South American qualifiers are as IRL: The top 3 nations from the Euro U21 championships (excluding the home nations) qualify. The top 2 nations from the South American U20 championships qualify. Obviously the hosts qualify. Edit: basically top nations from continental U21 or U20 championships. berty1978 Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 If you finish top 3 in the U20 championships you will qualify for the next Olympic games, in 2016. Edit again: The African U20 champs are every 2 years so the 2013 won't count, you will have to finish top 3 in the 2015 tournament to qualify for the Olympics.
