jdrawmer Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 I've noticed over the last few weeks that when a threw ball is played that beats the defence but WON'T reach the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper runs out to the edge of the box, but stays there - they don't try and boot it out or anything, just stand there and the striker subsequently EASILY takes it around them. I've seen some cases in which the defenders do almost the same thing: walking slowly towards the ball while the opposition's attacker sprints like H. Bolt to take the ball and eventually score... I don't mind so much because it's not as if it happens to me more than it does the computer, but when you're truely "into" the game, it makes you go insane when you see it happen in a big game!!! jon157uk Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Another thing that's very annoying is how your players always slow down and let the opposition catch up, this happens to my lot in every single game at some point. I'll have a player, not always a defender but more often than not it is, who is odds on going to get to the ball easily before any opposition player even gets near them and for no reason he just suddenly slows down to a walking pace until he has the opo player right up with him, then as soon as he's under pressure he starts running again! Very silly and annoying especially if he loses the ball when he could very easily have got to it half an hour before the opposition! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
