mimland Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 If you got the game on disc you can reinstall that and turn off the updates in steam, if you got a downloaded version your out of luck as they are fully updated when you download them. No you can't, it won't authenticate unless you log in to Steam even if you are installing from disc, then it will update to the latest version, if you pause the update you won't be able to run the game until it completes.
