Does assistant manager still gives opp. instructions during the match?

In FM 11 it was common that your assistant manager gave you opp. instr. during the match /tactict advice/, saying "we need to mark player X tightly", but only noticed this advice once during a first team vs reserves match advice once in the 8 seasons I've done.

So does this feature still exist in FM 12?

My assistant is Tito Vilanova, quite good tactics wise attribute.

He will suggest it once before the match. Any changes made by the opposition will not be suggested by him.

Personally, I refresh his suggestions at half-time. Then again after 60 mins or so. And then keep an eye on any changes the opposition make, especially if it's a tight game.
