jdrawmer
I've just noticed in pre-season that some players are noted as 'match fit' with 74% match fitness rating, and some players still need match fitness with 89% match fitness???
quaazi
Are you sure you're not confusing "condition" with "match fitness". I sometimes manage to...
jdrawmer
No i've definitely got the fitness view open with the 2 columns. Left is Condition and right is Match Fitness... Here is the image that shows a good example! With Patrick Gerritsen on 87% match fitness and still needing match fitness, yet Ben Groome has 71% match fitness and is match fit! phnompenhandy
Fitness and Match Fitness are different though. Gerritson will be able to run around for 90 minutes but his passing and shooting will be rubbish until he gets his 'edge' back. Groome will play well for half an hour then drop to his knees. Don't be fooled by the 'Fit' column header - hover it and it says match fitness, therefore they are both exactly the same. It doesn't make sense. Match fitness should be based on their natural fitness anyway, so everybody should need the same match fitness to be 'match fit', but it should be relational to their natural fitness (i.e. takes longer for somebody with low natural fitness to get match fit in the first place).
